Hey,\u00a0@swee han<\/user-mention>\u00a0Happy new year firstly.\":smile:\"\u00a0 Definitely you can restore the VM on the source site if that VM is protected and part of a Protection Domain and has snapshots being taken regularly at Source or Destination sites.<\/p>

So bsaically\u00a0there are two things after a failover\u2026you can do a failback using Protection Domain migrate option on the source site or Protection Domain activate option on the destination site. You can also bring up the\u00a0VM from the latest snapshots on the destination site.<\/p>

You can also create a clone instead of restoring from snapshot.<\/p>

Hi, I\u2019m new on the Data protection feature. I\u2019ve done the a test VM migration to another nutanix cluster. The thing is after the migration, the VM on the source will be destroyed. I\u2019m planning to use the Data protection to migrate the VM from the source cluster to the target cluster. I would need to failback the VM to the source VM.
