@Ravi Kumar<\/user-mention>\u00a0I guess I am a little confused when you say actual\u00a0port usage.\u00a0 In that document that I referenced above their are several tables depending on what your source\/destination is with a list of ports\/protocols and description.\u00a0 Is the description not enough for your customer?\u00a0<\/p>

In your example you reference 2049 is NFS.\u00a0 What more do you need?\u00a0 NFS is used for copying\/storing data and move is designed to copy data from one source and store it at the destination.\u00a0 If they require more details on NFS I am pretty sure they can google it and read the RFC.\u00a0 I am happy to answer more specific questions, but not sure what you need.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Query answers:<\/p>

  1. Currently Move has never been tested with port 80 blocked.\u00a0 If it is blocked preparation may not work and move agent installation on Hyper-V host may fail.<\/li>\t
  2. I don\u2019t think\u00a0that there's a choice between \"symmetric\" and \"asymmetric\" in SSH. Both symmetric and asymmetric encryption is used in SSH, but for specific tasks. I might be wrong here.<\/li><\/ol>","className":"post__content__best_answer"}">

I am working on a project where Nutanix Move will be highly leveraged for migration from Hyper-V, VMware to AHV Cluster.\u00a0<\/p>

I know the ports that are required to be opened between diff source and destination, however customer is asking for more details as in what is the usage of the ports.\u00a0<\/p>

Do we have any docs with detailed explanation on port usage?\u00a0<\/p>

For example usage of ports\u00a02049 (I know its for udp nfs but little more details :))<\/p>
