I'e just published a video demonstrating provisioning multiple SQL VM's in just minutes using VAAI Clones on the Nutanix platform. The SQL DB VM's are 435GB in size, but due to VAAI the new clones don't use any additional stroage capacity initially.

This vulnerability allowed malicious users to read arbitrary files or cause a denial of service (CVE-2014-0179). The updated packages have been upgraded to the 1.1.3.5 version and patched to correct these issues. _______________________________________________________________________ References: http:\/\/cve.mitre.org\/cgi-bin\/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2013-6456 http:\/\/cve.mitre.org\/cgi-bin\/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2014-0179 http:\/\/security.libvirt.org\/2014\/0003.html http:\/\/lists.opensuse.org\/opensuse-updates\/2014-05\/msg00048.html _______________________________________________________________________","url":"\/server-virtualization-27\/can-someone-from-nutanix-comment-on-this-security-issue-with-libvirt-834?postid=834#post834","creationDate":"2014-05-19T09:19:53+0000","relativeCreationDate":"7 years ago"},"numberOfViews":2980,"contentType":"question","publicLabel":"","category":{"url":"\/workloads-applications-6","categoryId":6,"title":"Workloads & Applications","metaRobots":"index, follow","type":0},"lastPostId":"836"},"isActivityPage":null,"showUnsubscribeBtn":null,"attachmentCdn":"https:\/\/uploads-us-west-2.insided.com\/nutanix-us\/attachment\/","isGuest":true,"csrfToken":"a333d0318ab1ff98af102f85f6b1258d5a3e1aa5","hideCategoryMetadata":false,"phrases":{"Forum":{"thread.unsubscribe":"Unsubscribe","vraag":"Question","beantwoord":"Solved","topic.list.metadata.asked.in":"asked in","topic.list.metadata.published.in":"published in","topic.list.metadata.shared.in":"shared in","topic.list.metadata.posted.in":"posted in"}}}">
